Spoleto Italy Workshop
June and August, 2006

Building on the past three successful summer programs, this intensive two-week screenwriting workshop focuses on the key elements of craft. Using your own ideas you go through a step-by-step process, learning and applying the logic of character, dialogue, the visual component and transitions. You learn how to prove out your story and the plotting of story. By the end of the workshop you will have completed a short screenplay of ten to twenty pages and will present your work to an invited audience. The group is kept small (8 participants) for individual attention and is a fresh approach for both beginning and experienced writers.
